General Hospital Recap Friday, September 4, 2026: Anna Pulls a Gun on Britt
Friday's General Hospital ran two clocks at once. At the Quartermaine Labor Day party a two-year-old car crash finally got named out loud, and on a dark stretch of Mount Emerson, Anna Devane stopped pretending. Here is the hour in the order it played, then the parts worth arguing about.

Did Trina find out Brook Lynn was the driver?
She worked it out, and then she said it to the room. Chase had already cornered Brook Lynn about the scrape on her car and her whereabouts on Route 91, and Brook Lynn stalled with a promise to explain everything later.
Trina overheard that. Minutes later, with Jordan standing right there, she asked whether Brook Lynn was the driver who left her father and Jordan on the road that night. No answer before the credits.
Why did Anna lure Britt to Mount Emerson?
Anna spent the hour building the trap in plain sight. She turned up at a shooting range, then stocked a trunk at a property she had bought from Sonny, and only afterward called Britt with a story about new information on Cassius.
She dropped a pin. Britt drove out. Jason kept calling and Britt kept ignoring him, and by the time he pieced together where she had gone, Anna already had the gun out and a line about nobody being close enough to hear her scream.
What was the tick scene with Ava about?
It plays as comedy and works as evidence. Isaiah removed a Lone Star tick from Ava's head, said the species has not turned up in Port Charles before, and told her he would be flagging it to public health.
That tick came from the wooded preserve where Ava and Drew buried Brennan β the same ground Outback was pawing at by the end of the hour. Two separate scenes, one hole in the ground.
Did Sonny really end things with Jason?
On paper, yes. Alexis walked him through the documents and he signed, closing the business partnership. Whether that survives contact with whatever Anna does next is a different question, and Jason spent Friday driving toward it.
What was the biggest moment?
Trina's question. The Anna cliffhanger is louder, but the crash story has been running quietly for months and Friday is the first time a character named Brook Lynn as the driver in front of witnesses β including Jordan, who was in the car.
