Y&R Spoilers Next Week (Sept. 14-18, 2026): Jack Baits Patty, Nate and Stephanie Slow-Dance

Bottom line: Patty Williams is in three of the five days' listings, and she's the reason the week moves. Five new episodes air at 12:30 p.m. ET / 11:30 a.m. CT on CBS, with no pre-emptions reported.

Where did Y&R leave off on Friday?

Patty got out of police custody on Thursday, Sept. 10. The next day, Jack collapsed at Society and Billy called 911. That's how Friday ended on screen.

What wasn't on screen yet: Soap Opera Spy, Celeb Dirty Laundry and Soap Dirt all report that Jack faked the collapse to draw Patty in. Monday's listing lines up with that. We're treating it as the likely setup, not a certainty, until it airs.

Elsewhere last week, Marie confessed to Logan's death, was released on grounds of self-defense and left town for treatment. Nick is now talking about leaving rehab. Victoria and Kyle, who gave in again on Labor Day, slept together at the motel once more and agreed, again, to stop. And Phyllis found another woman's sunglasses and perfume in Matt's room. What happens on Y&R Monday, Sept. 14?

• Jack's trap for Patty. Soaps.com questions whether it'll even hold her, given how good she's been at getting out of things.
• Sally goes to Adam at Crimson Lights and asks for a favor. In the preview, she calls it a matter of life or death. Nobody has said what the favor is, and we won't guess.
• Victor gathers intel on a rival while he's still going after the Abbotts.

Does Matt Clark side with Patty?

Not on Tuesday. The listings for Sept. 15 have Matt turning the tables on her, and Soap Hub says Roger Howarth has scenes that day. On Thursday, Phyllis runs out of road trying to help Matt, so his week is split between two women who both think they're steering him.

• Nikki and Billy come to an understanding. That comes a week after Nikki took on a new role of her own.
• Cane presses Lily about where they're headed.

Which Wednesday scenes are fans waiting for?

Two of them. Nate thanks Stephanie with a slow dance at his place, and Soap Opera Digest's preview video has him telling her whatever this is, it feels real. It carries extra weight because Vivica A. The other one is Victoria and Kyle. The weekly preview shows Kyle walking into a dark room at the Riverbank motel. After last week's agreement to call it off, that's not a great sign for the agreement.

• Billy's romantic plan for Sally doesn't come together. Soap Opera Digest's first-look photos show it involves cooking, without a shirt.
• Kate Linder is back as Esther Valentine for a scene with Kyle at Crimson Lights, per Soap Hub and Soap Opera Spy.

What does Patty's Thursday message mean for Jack and Diane?

It means the trap didn't end things. If Patty's still sending messages on Sept. 17, Monday's plan either missed or only half-worked. That's our inference from the order of the listings, not a spoiler anyone has published.

Thursday also has Victor making a tough decision to protect Nick. Nick's rehab stay was already in question going into the weekend — CBS's own Sept. 11 clip above asks whether it's over.

How does the week end on Friday, Sept. 18?

• Chelsea comforts Sally through something hard. After Monday's plea to Adam and Wednesday's letdown with Billy, Sally is in three days' listings too.
• Cane holds out an olive branch to Devon.
• Phyllis gets behind Daniel's new venture.

What time is The Young and the Restless on next week?
