General Hospital Recap Wednesday, September 23, 2026: Drew Catches Willow With Chase

The gist: Wednesday's General Hospital (Ep. #16051) belonged to Chase, who hired new attorney Monet Mitchell and agreed to move back into the Quartermaine mansion to protect his custody of Phoebe. Across town, Ava steered Willow toward Carly as the person who framed Nina. And the hour closed on Drew rounding a corner at the gym to find Willow and Chase together.

Tuesday ended in the Brown Dog parking lot, where Jordan caught Sonny kissing Justine. Valentin also took Charlotte's phone and cut her off from Danny. Tuesday's recap walks through every scene.

What did Monet tell Chase to do?

Go home, and fast. Chase met Monet at the Metro Court and told her he still loves Brook Lynn but can't risk losing their daughter. Both recaps we checked have Monet warning that a hotel room looks bad to a judge, so Chase should move back into the Quartermaine mansion right away.

Soap Opera Magazine's recap adds that she pushed for a legal separation first, and that Chase signed paperwork on the spot. She also made clear she isn't scared of the Quartermaines.

Did Drew see Willow and Chase together?

Yes. It's the last image of the day. Willow found Chase at the gym after hearing about his lawyer meeting, and Drew walked around the corner at exactly the wrong moment. One recap describes her taking his hand. Either way, Drew now has a picture he can use in his own fight with Willow.

Earlier in the same building, Drew cornered Kai. He said he knows Willow was the one who shot him and figured Kai helped clear papers out of his safe. Then, instead of threatening him, Drew offered Kai a job. Kai didn't take it.

Is Ava framing Carly for Nina's case?

She's trying. Willow sat down with Ava to work on getting Nina out of prison, and her idea was to find Jack Brennan. Ava, who knows far more about Brennan than she lets on, floated another theory: Carly got rid of him and pointed the WSB at Nina.

Willow thanked her. Ava is now handing Nina's daughter a suspect, and it's Ava's own rival.

What is Sonny doing at Pentonville?

A message service, basically. Sonny and Ric talked through the upcoming pier sale, with Sonny expecting Drew to be his main rival. Ric reminded him that a retired man is supposed to drop the old habits.

Then Sonny sent a message to an inmate through his associate. When Ric pushed, Sonny said he helps some prisoners' families, and in return they keep watch on Jenz Sidwell. So much for retirement.

Why was Curtis warned about his cell?

Portia brought Dex to Pentonville for a visit, and Curtis was thrilled to see them both. After they left, a fellow inmate told Curtis to find a reason to skip his cell after lunch. Given Sonny's new network in there, we'd bet the two scenes are connected.

Did Trina quit music?

No, but Brook Lynn is out. Trina decided she couldn't take a break built on Brook Lynn's guilt, and Gio was ready to walk with her. Brook Lynn begged her to stay. Trina agreed, on one condition: Brook Lynn has nothing to do with it. Brook Lynn accepted.

What is Tracy planning?

Tracy told Brook Lynn she'd find her the best lawyer money can buy if Chase pushes for a separation. Brook Lynn wanted honesty, not another scheme. Tracy then asked Yuri where Chase has been spending his time, which tells you exactly where her head is.

The biggest moment

The gym. 👉 Monet just told Chase to look like the steady parent, and within hours Drew saw him with his ex-wife. Add Tracy asking Yuri about Chase's whereabouts, and two different people now want that same moment on the record.

Also at the end: Ava showed up furious at Sonny's over Avery. Both recaps have her warning him never to go behind her back about their daughter again.

What it sets up for Thursday
