General Hospital Recap Thursday, October 1, 2026: Dante Doesn't Believe Sonny

The gist: Dante asked Sonny to his face about Pentonville and walked away unconvinced, and the argument ended with Sonny throwing him out. Around that blowup, Brook Lynn shoved Michael into the lake, Scout cut Danny off, and Willow made a deal with Curtis.

Previously on General Hospital
Wednesday, Scout saw Drew and Ava with Vito, and Danny punched Rocco at the boathouse. Curtis also refused to take back his statement against Sonny. Wednesday's recap has every scene.
Did Dante believe Sonny about the Pentonville attack?
No. Dante went to Sonny's house and asked directly whether he ordered the beating of Sidwell and Curtis. Sonny said no, and insisted he'd been set up. Per Soap Opera Digest, his version is that Vito was only supposed to have Sully keep an eye on Sidwell.
Dante pointed to prison video of Vito and Sully. He wasn't buying it, and he told his father he didn't respect him enough to be honest.
Sonny ended it by ordering Dante out of the house with a line about not wanting a son like that. Gio was there for the finish. Both recaps put him in the room.
What did Trina tell Gio?
Trina told Gio the attack on her father was Sonny's doing and asked him to talk his grandfather out of hurting Curtis any further. Gio was stunned, and he'd been sure Sonny had left that life behind.
That sets up Gio as the only person in the family who might still take Sonny's side.
What deal did Willow make with Curtis?
Willow visited Curtis in his hospital room and offered to use her political pull on his behalf. In return she wants something on Sonny. Curtis said yes. Soap Opera News describes the favor as getting his sentence vacated, and Soap Opera Digest says she also leaned on a doctor to keep him hospitalized longer; that second detail comes from one recap, so treat it as reported.
It's a fast shift. Willow has been fighting Michael, and now she's picked up a witness against his father.
Why did Brook Lynn push Michael into the lake?
Because he admitted the plan. Michael had told her to wait and let Chase and Willow's closeness work in her favor, and Brook Lynn realized he'd moved Willow back into the gatehouse on purpose.
She was furious that he'd gamble with her marriage for leverage. Then she pushed him in. 👉 Her marriage is now caught between Michael's strategy and Chase's pride.
What did Tracy tell Chase?
Tracy pressed him about the marriage. Chase said he still loves Brook Lynn but hasn't gotten past the hurt. Per Soap Opera News, Tracy argued that shutting Brook Lynn out hands Willow an easy win. Soap Opera Digest frames her stance as pushing him toward a divorce, so the exact ask differs by outlet.
Why did Scout cut ties with Danny?
Danny snuck over once Drew left for work and told Scout he'd fought Rocco over Charlotte. Scout hadn't heard it from Rocco, and she was angry. She called Danny a thug and said he was acting like his father.
Per Soap Opera Digest, Scout then went to Rocco to apologize for her brother, Tracy comforted Danny, and Lulu stormed off to confront Tracy over how Danny treated her son. Soap Opera News has Rocco telling Lulu about the fight. We only have one outlet for the Lulu and Tracy meeting, so we're calling it reported.
