General Hospital Recap Friday, October 2, 2026: Dante Walks Out on Sonny

Sonny spent Friday watching people he loves pick a side, and none of them picked his. Dante left his father's house convinced the Pentonville beating was Sonny's doing, and Sonny's own grandson walked out of the scene with more questions than he came in with.

Around that fight, Chase dug in on staying with the Quartermaines, Joss swore she'd bring Sonny down, and Rocco and Scout shared a kiss that Lulu pretended not to see. If you only have a minute, jump to the questions below.

Did Dante walk out on Sonny?

Yes. Dante came to Sonny's house about the attack on Curtis and Sidwell, and the talk went nowhere. Sonny insisted he'd only told his men to keep an eye on Sidwell. Per Soap Opera Digest, that message went through Vito to Sully.

Gio arrived mid-argument. Dante told him to leave with him, then went out alone. Sonny denied ordering any violence, and per Soaps.com, Dante answered that police have video of Sonny's men at the prison that morning.

That's the second day in a row Dante has left without an answer he believes. Thursday's recap has the first round.

Why won't Chase move out with Brook Lynn?

Brook Lynn wanted their own place. Chase said no, and told her they should fix things at the Quartermaines' with family around. Michael and Brook Lynn had been arguing when Chase showed up, and Michael left to take a call.

Underneath it is Phoebe. All three recaps we checked have Chase worried about what moving out could mean for custody, and Brook Lynn asked him straight out whether that was his strategy.

What did Tracy tell Lulu about Danny?

Lulu said she'd press charges if Danny went after Rocco again. Tracy told her not to, because it could cost her Rocco's trust. Per Soaps.com, Tracy's advice was to let him make mistakes and keep loving him anyway.

Later, per both Soaps.com and Soap Opera News, Dante told Tracy she'd been right about Sonny.

Is Joss really going after Sonny?

She says so. Trina told her Curtis was hurt in Pentonville and blamed Sonny, and Joss said he wouldn't walk away from it. She tied it to her new job with the WSB.

It's worth watching because Joss now has both a grudge and an agency behind her. 👉 If she finds anything real on Sonny, it won't stay quiet.

What happened with Jordan, Justine and the German clinic?

Two things, and they connect. Jordan told Justine that her friendship with Jordan depends on what she does about Sonny. Justine kept saying reasonable doubt exists, per Soaps.com and Soap Opera Digest.

Michael also urged Jordan to take the treatment opportunity in Germany instead of putting Curtis's case first. We did not see Jordan get a final answer on air. Per Soaps.com she said helping Curtis mattered more right now, while Soap Opera News says the conversation was cut off. The "life-changing news" teased in the previews hasn't been confirmed as aired.

Did Rocco and Scout kiss?

They did. The two had talked through the fight with Danny, and Rocco admitted he'd said something cruel during it. Then they kissed. All three outlets agree Lulu walked in and let them have the moment.

What did Mac tell Emma?

Mac warned Emma that dating Gio means living near Sonny's world, and reminded her who has been hurt by it. Emma wouldn't back away from Gio, per Soaps.com and Soap Opera News.

How did Friday end for Sonny?

Alone and drinking. Sonny reached out to Justine, and per Soap Opera Digest and Soap Opera News she showed up and asked him directly whether he ordered the attack. We don't have his answer. The episode stopped there.

What happens next on General Hospital?

No. He denied ordering violence and said he only wanted Sidwell watched. Justine's question at the end is still open.
