General Hospital Recap Thursday, October 8, 2026: Lulu's Article Exposes Willow

Lulu's story ran in The Invader, and it says Willow spent months dosing Drew with a paralytic she got through Sidwell. The Thursday, Oct. 8 hour of General Hospital was about everyone else reading it.

By the last scene Chase had picked Willow over the Quartermaines. Drew and Ava had settled on using the article against her, Jordan had said yes to a clinic in Germany, and Curtis had a new lawyer with one more thing to mention.

Wednesday gave Lulu her paperwork. Drew signed a HIPAA waiver for what he thought was a profile, and Liz and Lucas told her Jack Brennan had been locked-in too. Drew also threatened to send Scout to boarding school. Wednesday's recap has all of it.

What did Lulu's Invader article say about Willow?

That she drugged her husband for months, and that the paralytic traces back to Sidwell. Both recaps describe the piece that way, and both tie the same drug to Brennan.

Drew heard about it from Carly, in her office. She thought it was hilarious and didn't hide it.

How did Willow take it, and why was Britt there?

Badly. Britt turned up at the gatehouse already assuming the story was true, and she came to help anyway.

Willow told her cousin everything, including that Sidwell put her in Drew's congressional seat. Britt wondered why Sidwell would talk now, since it implicates him too.

Then Britt offered the one comfort available. Drew, she figured, won't confirm a story that makes him look like a fool.

Why did Chase go after the Quartermaines?

Because Tracy texted him the article. He was sitting with Monet to talk about his separation, read it, and walked out of the meeting.

In the Quartermaine kitchen he accused Tracy, Michael and Brook Lynn of planting a hit piece, they denied it, and he didn't buy the denial. He left promising to stop them, then went to the gatehouse and told Willow he'd help her fight.

Tracy wanted him to see Willow clearly. The text bought the opposite.

Is Jordan going to Germany?

She agreed to. Michael lined up an assessment with a facial reconstruction specialist there.

Jordan didn't want to leave Curtis yet. He told her to put herself first, and she went to Michael and accepted.

What did Monet tell Curtis?

First, that he has grounds for an appeal. She'd found errors by the judge.

Curtis hired her, and they shook on it. Soap Opera News has him reluctant at first. Only after the handshake did she add the rest: "Jordan's my sister," as both recaps quote it.

Viewers had that already, and our Monet explainer lays out the family tie. Curtis didn't. That was the shock every preview promised him.

Did Ava keep Avery away from Sonny?

For this visit, yes. Ava arrived alone and blamed what happened at Pentonville. Sonny denied any part in the beatings and warned her not to try it again.

Carly showed up with Donna a little later and said the thing nobody else has. She believes him, because a hit makes no sense for a man trying to leave the mob behind.

Sonny admitted Dante's doubt hurts, and he offered Carly the same out Ava took. She turned it down. Donna, warned she may hear things at school, called him the best dad.

What are Drew and Ava planning now?

To bury Willow with her own headline. Drew showed Ava the piece and worried the Brennan angle could reopen questions about his disappearance, and that those questions lead to the two of them.
