General Hospital Recap Wednesday, October 7, 2026: Drew Threatens to Send Scout Away

The gist: Drew agreed to let Lulu profile his stroke recovery and signed away his medical privacy to do it. At General Hospital she heard that Jack Brennan had the same rare locked-in syndrome. Across town, Drew told Alexis he'd ship Scout off to boarding school if she and Molly violate his restraining order.

Previously on General Hospital

Tuesday closed on Lulu in a nurse's uniform, phone recording, while a medicated Sidwell named Sonny, Britt and Willow. Anna learned Robert and Holly are settling in France. Tuesday's recap walks through it.

What did Lulu find out about Drew's stroke?

She started with Drew himself. Lulu pitched him a profile of his recovery, and all three recaps have him agreeing and clearing her to talk to his doctors. Two of them specify a signed HIPAA waiver.

Then she took the waiver to the hospital, where Elizabeth told her Willow was involved in Drew's care from the very start.

The bigger piece came next. Liz and Lucas said Drew wasn't the only locked-in patient: Jack Brennan was one too. Soap Opera Digest has Lulu suspecting the two strokes are connected.

Soaps.com alone adds two details: Jack's stroke happened at Drew's house, and the board of health found no contaminant there.

Later Drew phoned Lulu to say he was ready to talk.

Did Drew threaten to send Scout to boarding school?

Yes, at the gym. All three recaps report it.

Alexis had just heard about Danny and Rocco's fight. She said both of Sam's kids are being failed by their fathers, and Drew overheard.

His answer: if Alexis and Molly violate the restraining order, Scout goes to boarding school.

After he left, Molly pointed out that he never brought up Charlotte, so Scout hasn't told him. Alexis decided they aren't giving up on her granddaughter.

Did Danny forgive Rocco?

No. Two people asked him to, and he turned down both.

Scout went to the gatehouse first. Danny told her he can't get past it, and Soap Opera Digest has him adding that she'll always be his sister. Then Dante stopped by with the same request and told him the boys need each other.

A week has passed since the boathouse punch on Sept. 30.

Rocco and Scout met up afterward and agreed again that Drew can't find out about them. Per Soaps.com, Rocco started to tell her about the scene at the gym and Scout stopped him before the details. No recap has her hearing about the boarding school threat.

What did Carly ask Anna, and did Anna say yes?

The previews stopped at "a favor." It turned out to be Josslyn: Carly wanted Anna to guide her daughter through the WSB.

Anna declined. Soap Opera Digest and Soap Opera News both tie it to her having nearly killed Britt, and all three say she doesn't trust her own judgment right now.

The talk moved to therapy. Anna's therapist wants someone in the sessions who knew her during the Faison years, and Valentin's name came up. Soap Opera News is the only one reporting that Anna called both Robert and Valentin too busy.

Carly pushed her to ask Valentin anyway. No recap has Anna agreeing.

Is Gio moving out of Sonny's house?

That's the plan, with Emma. They told Tracy at the Quartermaine mansion and she approved.
