General Hospital Recap Thursday, September 24, 2026: Monet Is Jordan's Sister

Short version: Thursday's General Hospital (Ep. #16052) ended with a family reveal nobody had on their bingo card. Monet Mitchell, Chase's brand-new lawyer, turned out to be Jordan Ashford's sister. Before that, Ava lost a round to Sonny over Avery, and Tracy decided the fastest way to win Brook Lynn's custody fight is to catch Chase with Willow.

Wednesday, Chase hired Monet and agreed to move back into the mansion to protect his custody of Phoebe. The hour closed on Drew spotting Willow and Chase together at the gym. Our Wednesday recap has every beat.

Who is Monet on General Hospital?

As of Thursday, she's Jordan's sister. Both recaps we checked end the episode in the Metro Court gardens with Monet telling Jordan they're family. Soap Opera Digest's take: the greeting was anything but warm.

Monet only arrived Wednesday, played by Blythe Howard, and she's now the attorney pushing Chase into a legal fight with the Quartermaines, while Jordan has her own mess brewing with Justine and Sonny.

Did Chase move back into the Quartermaine mansion?

Yes. The day opened at the gym, where Chase told Willow his lawyer wants him back under the Quartermaine roof. Willow was all for it.

Monet then went to the mansion and leaned on Tracy. Soap Opera News says she raised a separation and custody suit if Chase was kept out. Tracy didn't blink at the threat, but she let him in anyway. By the end of the hour, Chase was moving his things back.

Why did Tracy agree?

Because she has a plan. In the Aurora offices she laid it out for Michael: get Chase and Willow under one roof and wait for him to slip. An affair on the record would help Brook Lynn keep Phoebe.

Michael pushed back at first, according to one recap, then came around and agreed to help. Michael helping Tracy put his ex-wife in Chase's path is not a sentence we expected to write this year.

Did Willow kiss Chase on GH today?

Only in her head. Once Chase left the gym, Willow drifted into a steam-room fantasy about him. Every recap we read is clear it was a daydream, not a real scene.

Still, put it next to Tracy's plan. The one person Tracy needs to be tempted is already thinking about it.

What happened between Ava and Sonny?

A screaming match over Avery. Sonny wants to take her to New York for a ballet trip, which means time out of school. Ava refused to sign off, and Sonny reminded her the custody agreement gives him the final word.

Ava threatened to take him back to court. In the end she gave the school her okay, but walked out of his house angrier than she walked in. Soap Opera Digest's recap has her set on teaming with Drew to take Sonny down.

Where do Michael and Drew stand?

Working together, not trusting each other. Per Soap Opera Digest, Drew floated a bigger partnership, and Michael told him plainly that sharing a business doesn't mean he trusts him.

Is Justine still seeing Sonny?

Not if Jordan has anything to say about it. In the gardens, Jordan brought up the parking-lot kiss she saw Tuesday. Justine promised to keep things quiet, and Soap Opera Digest adds that she later told Sonny their meetings had to stop.

Is Sidwell getting out of Pentonville?

Not with Alexis's help. Sidwell asked her to take his case and get him released. She turned him down flat. Soap Opera Digest notes he's claiming he signed his plea deal under duress, so expect him to shop for another lawyer.

The sister reveal. 👉 Monet now sits on both sides of Port Charles' two hottest fights: she's Chase's lawyer against Tracy, and Jordan's family while Jordan guards Justine's campaign.
