The question people type at lunchtime is nearly always the same: what happens today, and did I miss something yesterday?
This page answers both. The block above is the week in front of us, rebuilt each weekend as the new spoilers land; everything below it is the part that doesn't change — the air time, the streaming rules, the people you need to know to follow the current story, and how much trust a spoiler actually deserves.
What's happening on B&B right now?
One story is driving nearly everything: Steffy, Carter and a pregnancy neither of them planned. Steffy and Carter slept together and Steffy is pregnant. Finn, Steffy's husband, was kept in the dark at first; he has since found out about the pregnancy.
Carter's answer to that problem is the surrogacy idea. His wife, Daphne, wants a baby and has been looking for a surrogate she already knows and trusts, and Carter's plan is to put the already-pregnant Steffy in that role. It is a cover story dressed up as a favour, and it only works if nobody counts backwards. As of Friday, Sept. 18 it had moved a step further than Steffy agreed to: Carter told Daphne the yes was already given. CBS's own loglines trace it from there: Steffy shocked Finn on Tuesday, Sept. 22, Finn asked her not to go through with the surrogacy on Wednesday, Sept. 23, and Carter was back trying to get through to her on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Finn is no longer in the dark about the pregnancy. Soaps.com's and Daytime Soap Stop's previews for Oct. 19–23 both had him shocked to learn Steffy went against his wishes. Per Soaps.com's recap of Thursday, Oct. 22, Finn confronted Steffy and Carter, suggested the baby could be Carter's, and demanded a blood test. We have not confirmed from a second recap what he now believes about the night itself.
Two threads run alongside it. Taylor has started to read her daughter's face and doesn't like what she sees, and over in Logan territory Katie keeps inserting herself into Will's love life while Brooke loses patience with her. What time is The Bold and the Beautiful on today?
B&B airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. Eastern and 12:30 p.m. Central on CBS, and it runs thirty minutes. There is no weekend episode.

West of Central it stops being a network question. CBS sends a separate feed and affiliates drop the block where their own morning schedule allows, so your listings grid beats any national time we could print.
👉 Quickest sanity check: in most Eastern and Central markets, B&B sits directly after Y&R. If Y&R turned up in its normal slot and B&B didn't, whatever went wrong is local, not national.
Where do I stream it if I missed the episode?
Paramount+ posts each episode the day after it airs, and CBS.com carries a window of recent episodes behind a TV provider login. Neither route is a live simulcast on the base plan, so catching up is a next-day habit rather than a same-afternoon one.

Why isn't B&B on today?
Four things account for nearly every disappearance. Sports take the afternoon during March Madness and big golf weekends; a network special report takes the slot outright; CBS parks encores on major holidays; and your own station swaps in local coverage without telling anyone outside the market.
Only the first and third are predictable weeks ahead. ABC and CBS also don't make the same holiday call, which is why General Hospital can be in repeats on a day the CBS soaps run new hours.
How reliable are B&B spoilers?
The weekly spoilers come from the network's own plot summaries, which is why the outlets that publish them mostly agree with each other. The day-by-day lines are accurate about what is coming and vague about how — "a horrific twist" tells you the temperature, not the event.
Our rule on this page is simple: if only one outlet is reporting a beat, it doesn't go in the table. That rule kept a few louder headlines out of the Oct. 12–16 block, including one column's claim that Steffy tells Finn an embryo transfer has already happened. Everything in the weekly block above appeared in at least two independent spoiler releases.
How do I find a specific episode number?
B&B has been running since March 1987 and is deep into the 9,800s. TVmaze had Friday, Sept. 11 filed as Ep. #9863 and Monday, Sept. 21 as Ep. #9869 — six weekdays apart, six numbers apart, which is the whole rule: one number per weekday, nothing for Saturday or Sunday.
That lag matters if you're hunting one episode on Paramount+, because the platform sorts by air date while fan wikis sort by production number. Start from a date you're sure of and count weekdays forward — the show skips weekends and nothing else.

On an ordinary weekday, yes. Check the weekly block at the top of this page first, then your local listings, because a station-level swap won't show up in national schedules.
How long is an episode?
Thirty minutes, including ads. That's half the length of Y&R, which runs right before it.
