Previously on General Hospital

Friday ended on two frozen frames. Trina asked Brook Lynn, in front of Jordan, whether she was the driver who left them on the road — and out on Mount Emerson, Anna raised a gun on Britt. Neither got an answer, because Monday was a Labor Day encore. If you want the full hour, Friday's recap has it.

The arithmetic behind Tuesday: four days of waiting, two cliffhangers, both paid off in one hour.

Did Brook Lynn admit she was the driver?

Yes. She stopped hedging and told Trina she was the one who hit the guardrail that night.

Her defence was that she never knew Jordan had crashed — she says she would have stopped if she had. That did not travel well in a room where Trina's father is sitting in a cell.

Trina laid it out plainly: Curtis went to prison for throwing a punch at Isaiah, and the punch happened because nobody knew the truth. Brook Lynn's reason for the silence came later, to Chase — she had had a glass of wine that night, and she was terrified the admission would cost them Phoebe.

Why did Chase walk out?

Because he had already worked most of it out and she still let him ask. He told her he could not look at her and left the house.

He went straight to the gatehouse, and Willow opened the door. The show did not need a line of dialogue to make that land.

Tuesday's six threads, in the order they aired.

What happened between Anna and Britt on Mount Emerson?

Britt drove out there on a promise of new information about Cassius, ignoring Jason's calls the whole way. What she found was a tarp on the ground and Anna with a gun.

Anna was not entirely in the room. She was hearing Peter — recaps describe her taking kill orders from a dead man — and talking about finishing Faison's bloodline.

Jason arrived unarmed and argued the only angle that could work on her: pull the trigger and Faison wins, because Faison spent his life trying to take Britt away from the people who love her. One early recap has Anna handing the gun over. The others leave her resolve visibly cracked with the weapon still up. Either way, she did not fire.

What was Drew doing at Sonny's?

Hunting for Scout, loudly. Sonny said she was not there — true, and useless, because Drew called her number and heard it ring in the living room.

Scout had gone off with Rocco and then lied about it. By the close, Alexis and Sonny were quietly agreeing to keep her visits off Drew's radar — a plan with roughly a week of shelf life in Port Charles.

Why does the tick scene still matter?

Isaiah pressed Ava on where she picked up a tick — the species is new to the area, so public health has to be told. She blamed a dog outside her gallery. He took it, until Portia walked in.

The dog story is doing a lot of work for a woman who has been spending time in the preserve where Jack Brennan is buried.

👉 Two secrets, one hour: who was driving on Route 91, and what is in the ground at the preserve. Tuesday cracked the first one wide open and left the second exactly where it was.

What was the biggest moment?

Brook Lynn's confession — not the loudest scene, since the gun on the mountain was that. It matters because the crash story has run on one person's silence for months, and Tuesday moved it from Chase's suspicion to a fact a room full of witnesses heard, Jordan included.

What does Tuesday set up for Wednesday?

Published spoilers put an unexpected visitor at Willow's door, Josslyn drawing a line, Gio pressing for answers, Hudson seeing something he was not meant to, and Emma getting news she did not expect. The full run is in this week's GH spoilers.

Did Anna shoot Britt on GH today? No. Jason reached Mount Emerson before she fired and spent the closing scenes talking her down.
