General Hospital Spoilers Next Week, Sept. 7-11, 2026: Jason Races to Reach Britt

Friday's hour ended with Anna Devane raising a gun on a dark stretch of Mount Emerson and Britt Westbourne standing in front of it. Then ABC makes everyone wait an extra day.
Labor Day pushes the network into an encore, so the cliffhanger sits untouched until Tuesday. What follows is a four-episode week, and the published spoilers load nearly all of it onto two threads: whether Jason reaches Britt in time, and how far the Route 91 crash story travels now that Brook Lynn's name is out loud.
Preview for the week of Monday, September 7 through Friday, September 11, 2026. Listings via TVmaze.
Why is General Hospital not new on Monday, September 7?
ABC is running an encore for the holiday. The replay is the February 20 episode — the special hour in which Port Charles gathered to remember Luke Spencer, made after Anthony Geary's death.
Soaps.com, Soap Opera Digest and Soap Hub all list the same swap, and TVmaze has no new General Hospital episode on its Monday schedule either. New episodes start again Tuesday, September 8.
Worth knowing if you watch more than one soap: CBS is not doing this. Both The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful air new episodes on Labor Day, which makes GH the odd one out in the daytime block that afternoon.
What happens on General Hospital next week?
Tuesday, September 8 — Britt's life-or-death hour
- Britt faces a life-or-death situation while Jason makes a desperate plea. Both Soaps.com and Soap Hub use almost the same framing, which usually means the scene runs long.
- Trina starts the week furious. After what she said out loud on Friday, that tracks.
- Drew lashes out at someone. No source names the target.
- Portia and Isaiah are caught off guard by unexpected news.
Wednesday, September 9
- Willow gets a surprising visitor.
- Josslyn refuses to back down on something.
- Gio pushes someone for answers, and Hudson sees something he was not supposed to see.
- Emma gets news that catches her off guard.
Thursday, September 10
- Jason issues a threat, which is a strange sentence to write about a man who signed his way out of the business on Friday.
- Chase confides in Dante.
- Brook Lynn gets a reality check, and Trina turns up somewhere Brook Lynn would rather she did not.
- Emma regrets a choice. That is one day after the news she gets on Wednesday, so the two are almost certainly the same story.
Friday, September 11
- Jason clashes with a loved one.
- Drew works on Willow with his usual tactics.
- Valentin says out loud that he fears for Nina's safety.
- Tracy goes behind Brook Lynn's back. Soap Hub reads it as Tracy trying to help, which with Tracy is rarely the same thing.
- Jordan shares information, and Soap Hub connects it to the crash investigation and to what Curtis assumed about Isaiah.

Where does the week pick up from?
Three Friday threads carry straight into Tuesday. Trina asked Brook Lynn, in front of Jordan, whether she was the driver who left Curtis and Jordan on Route 91. Anna lured Britt to Mount Emerson with a story about Cassius and then took out a gun. Sonny signed the paperwork that ends his business partnership with Jason.
Two quieter ones are still open. Isaiah pulled a Lone Star tick off Ava's head and said he had to report it, and the Quartermaine dog started digging at the exact patch of preserve where Jack Brennan is buried. Neither turns up in next week's published spoilers, which does not mean they are finished. Our Friday recap has the full hour, and the week in review lays out how the body got there.
Who is worth watching?
- Jason Morgan — freshly out of the business on paper, driving toward Mount Emerson anyway.
- Anna Devane — former WSB agent and police commissioner, now the one holding the gun.
- Brook Lynn Quartermaine — named as the Route 91 driver on Friday, facing Trina, Jordan and Tracy next week.
- Emma Scorpio-Drake — Robin and Patrick's daughter, handed news Wednesday and regret by Thursday.
- Jordan Ashford — was in the car that night, and ends the week with something to say.
What time is General Hospital on next week?
- Eastern: 2 p.m. on ABC, Tuesday through Friday
- Central: 1 p.m.
- Mountain: 1 p.m.
- Pacific: 2 p.m., though some ABC stations push it to 3 p.m.
Every episode lands on Hulu and in the ABC app the following day, so Tuesday's hour is streaming Wednesday. The Monday encore streams the same way. Our viewing guide covers the station-by-station wrinkles.
What does the week set up?
Two answers are due. Britt's situation resolves early, because a life-or-death cliffhanger cannot idle past Tuesday. The crash story runs the other way — Jordan's Friday revelation reads like the start of a new phase rather than the end of one.
👉 Tracy moving behind Brook Lynn's back on Friday is the beat to file away. Quartermaine cover-ups have a long half-life.We post a preview before each hour and a recap after it in the General Hospital section.
