General Hospital Spoilers Friday, September 11, 2026: Jason Won't Testify Against Anna

| Who | Where | What's at stake |
|---|---|---|
| Jason & Britt | — | Whether he testifies about Mount Emerson |
| Jordan & Curtis | Pentonville | Who was really driving, and who shares his cell |
| Carly & the WSB | — | Jack Brennan's disappearance |
| Drew & Willow | Her office | Leverage, now that Brennan is gone |
| Trina & Brook Lynn | A doorstep | An apology nobody accepts |
| Chase & Ned | — | A marriage, and a father-in-law's role in it |
The gist: Friday's General Hospital airs at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. CT on ABC and lands on Hulu Saturday. It's a new hour, and the loudest scene is Britt asking Jason to be her witness against Anna. He says no.
Friday, September 11, 2026 · Season 2026, Episode 178 (production #16043) · ABC. TVmaze lists the hour but no summary. It closes a four-episode week, since Monday ran as a Labor Day encore.
Is General Hospital new today?
Yes — a regular hour, no pre-emption listed. Anna's breakdown and the Route 91 crash both spill onto people outside the inner circle today.
Previously on General Hospital
Thursday was the quiet fallout. Anna handed the commissioner's job to Dante and walked into therapy, and Chase closed the Ashford file with his own wife named as the second driver. Thursday's recap has every scene; the preview sits beside it if you want to see what was called right.
Why won't Jason help Britt against Anna?
Because he thinks Anna has paid enough. Britt's pitch, per Soap Opera Spy, Daytime Soap Stop and Celeb Dirty Laundry, is simple: Jason was standing on that mountain, so he's a witness, and she needs him to stop Anna.
Jason refuses, and says Anna isn't a danger to anyone. Daytime Soap Stop and Celeb Dirty Laundry both add a second grievance — Britt kept back what she knew about Anna being held on Spoon Island. That lands badly.
Honestly? Britt has been right about the danger and wrong about the tone since Wednesday.

What does Jordan tell Curtis at Pentonville?
Two things he didn't know. Jordan visits him in prison and tells him Brook Lynn was the other driver in the Route 91 crash, which also means Isaiah didn't leave them there. Daytime Soap Stop and Celeb Dirty Laundry both report it.
Then the visit turns. Jordan learns Jenz Sidwell is Curtis's cellmate, and fears Sidwell will go after Curtis to hurt her.
Who does Carly point the WSB toward?
Nina. A WSB agent is asking about Jack Brennan, and Carly tells him Nina is the person he should be questioning. Soap Central, Soap Opera Spy and Daytime Soap Stop all carry the line.
Her reason, per two write-ups: she heard Nina threatening Brennan at the Metro Court gardens. What Carly doesn't know is that Drew already planted Brennan's wallet in Nina's car. Valentin sees where this goes and gets scared for his ex-wife.
What else happens Friday?
- Drew and Willow. He shows up at her office to rattle her, hinting she's lost her leverage on him and accusing her of shooting him. She tells him to prove it. Willow still doesn't know Brennan is dead.
- Trina and Brook Lynn. Brook Lynn tries to apologize; Trina says apologies won't fix anything and shuts the door on her.
- Chase and Ned. Chase tells his father-in-law to respect his wishes and stay out of the marriage.
- Tracy. Soaps.com says she goes behind Brook Lynn's back. Celeb Dirty Laundry alone says it's about lining up a divorce lawyer, so hold that loosely.

What does Friday set up for next week (Sept. 14–18)?
Soap Dirt and Celeb Dirty Laundry both expect the planted wallet to turn Nina into the WSB's main suspect. On Jason and Britt, Celeb Dirty Laundry calls her Spoon Island secret a possible deal-breaker, and Soap Dirt floats a split — a forecast, not a spoiler yet.
Soap Dirt alone adds a police auction of Sidwell's assets and Curtis admitting he had Isaiah wrong. Friday's Pentonville scene makes that second one look close.
This week's GH spoilers track the run through Thursday; last week's review has the night Brennan went into the pool.
FAQ
Is there a Friday cliffhanger? No outlet names one yet. The likeliest candidate is the WSB closing in on Nina, since that's what next week opens with.
Who is Jenz Sidwell? A longtime Port Charles villain with history against Jordan, who's now locked up in the same cell as her husband.
Where's the recap? Each aired hour gets one in the General Hospital archive; Wednesday's has the gunshot on the mountain that started Britt's campaign.
Also on CBS today
The Young and the Restless runs at 12:30 p.m. ET and The Bold and the Beautiful at 1:30, an hour ahead of GH.
