Short version: Serena Baldwin is Scott Baldwin's daughter, a returning General Hospital character now played by Kelly Kruger. This fall she's tangled up in Lucy Coe's push to get Michael Corinthos's proxy at Deception, and Jason Morgan has said no.
If a Baldwin you don't recognize keeps turning up in Port Charles, this is who she is. ABC's official cast page showed 14 names on its first screen when we read it on Oct. 29, and Serena wasn't among them, though Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was. That just means the page doesn't list every regular up front.

Who plays Serena Baldwin?
Kelly Kruger, a soap alum from The Young and the Restless. Soap Central reported on June 8, 2026 that she began taping that day, with her episodes due to air in July. She replaces Carly Schroeder, who first played Serena and was last seen in Port Charles in 2017, per Soap Central.
How is Serena related to Scott and Lucy?
She's Scott Baldwin's daughter with Dominique Stanton. Soap Central says Lucy carried Serena as a surrogate and became her de facto mother, and Wikipedia's character entry calls Serena Lucy's adoptive and surrogate daughter. That's why Lucy talks about her as family.
What has Serena done on General Hospital this fall?
She first shows up in our recaps on Sept. 14, visiting Cody at the Quartermaine stables. The story picked up in October.
On Monday, Oct. 5, per our Oct. 5 recap, Serena went at Jason over her father, blaming him for running Scott out of town. Soap Opera Digest and Soaps.com agree on that. Then she slipped upstairs, where the Quartermaines have been arguing about falcons nesting on the roof, and Jason found her hanging upside down. The Oct. 6 recap has Jason getting her down.
What is Lucy's plan for Deception?
Lucy wants Michael's proxy, and she wants Serena to get it. On Wednesday, Oct. 14, Lucy sent Serena after it while Michael flew to Germany with Jordan. Serena agreed to try but had doubts, per both recaps in our Oct. 14 recap.
On Friday, Oct. 16, Serena pushed Jason to e-sign her mother's document, and he said he'd read before signing, per the Oct. 16 recap. By Wednesday, Oct. 21, he refused to sign it over, even for ten days, and told Lucy and Serena not to try again. He added that he'd read anything Serena sends.
