General Hospital Recap Thursday, September 17, 2026: Nina Is Extradited, Drew Confesses to Ava

Nina Reeves walked into the PCPD on Thursday still sounding like a woman who could explain her way out of this. She left it in WSB custody, screaming, with a wallet she had never touched doing all the talking on her behalf.

Everywhere else, people argued about who owed whom an apology. The one man who actually rigged this explained himself to Ava, and nothing happened to him.

What happened to Nina Reeves on GH today?

She was extradited. Baines interrogated her at the station, then produced Jack Brennan's wallet — recovered from her own car — and told her the bureau had what it needed.

Nina said, repeatedly, that she was being set up. Ric Lansing arrived as her attorney and argued nobody had established how that wallet got where it was found. It changed nothing: the WSB was taking custody over Brennan's disappearance and suspected murder, immediately. Agents walked her out while she was still shouting.

Baines is played by Alimi Ballard, and his run on the show has now produced an arrest and an extradition in two consecutive episodes.

Why couldn't Sonny get Nina out of it?

Because Justine told him she can't reach the WSB. Their meeting was brief and one-directional: the bureau outranks the federal system she works in, so there is no favor for her to call in.

She also made her own career the reason for stepping back. Early recaps disagree on which job she wants, so treat that detail as unconfirmed. The part that matters to Sonny is the same either way: his easiest legal channel just closed.

What did Drew admit to Ava?

All of it. Ava came at him about Nina, and Drew confirmed he took Brennan's wallet and planted it in her car, timing it so the bureau would find exactly what he wanted found.

His defense was a list: Nina and Willow have tried to end him before, and he counted the attempts out loud. He framed a woman for murder and described it as arithmetic. Ava objected to the method, not the outcome — Brennan's burial is on her record too. Why did Brook Lynn confront Lucy Coe?

Over a deal Lucy didn't keep. In the Metro Court gardens, Brook Lynn demanded her Deception shares back — Lucy talked, and the talking unravelled the Route 91 secret and the attempt to pin it on Willow. Lucy kept the stock and told her the lies were her own problem.

Aurora went no better. Brook Lynn took responsibility for the crash while holding the line that she hadn't known what she left behind, and Jordan pointed her toward doing something useful for Curtis instead. One early recap adds that Lucy then asked Serena to go after Michael's shares.

What did Carly tell Josslyn, and what did Curtis tell Trina?

Carly admitted she is the reason Baines looked at Nina at all, which is where the Sept. 11 hour left things. Josslyn answered with a warning, not a thank-you: stay clear of the bureau.

At Pentonville, Trina and her father circled the same question everyone else was on — whether Brook Lynn's silence is why he's in there. Curtis took his share and told her to keep her own life moving.
