Who Is Brook Lynn on General Hospital? Her Story So Far, Explained

Short version: Brook Lynn Quartermaine is Ned Quartermaine and Lois Cerullo's daughter, Tracy's granddaughter, and the woman who sat on the Route 91 crash secret for months. Amanda Setton has played her since November 2019. On Monday, Oct. 26, she and Harrison Chase signed divorce papers in the Dominican Republic, 2 years and 5 months after their May 2024 wedding.
If you came to the show this fall and keep hearing her name in every other scene, this is the catch-up. One housekeeping note first: ABC's official cast page showed 14 names on the first of its three screens when we read it at 1 a.m. ET on Oct. 28, and Brook Lynn wasn't among them, though Chase (Josh Swickard) was. That says nothing about her status. The page just doesn't list every regular up front.

Who plays Brook Lynn on General Hospital?
Amanda Setton. Soap Central reported her casting in November 2019, and Wikipedia's cast history has her in the part from 2019 to now. She came to the show from One Life to Live, where she played Kimberly Andrews.
She's not the first Brook Lynn. Adrianne León played the character as a teen and young adult between 2004 and 2011, and Briana Lane filled in for several months in 2020 while Setton was on leave. Setton picked up her first Daytime Emmy nomination in 2026, for supporting actress, per Michael Fairman TV and Wikipedia.
How is she related to the Quartermaines?
Through her father. Ned is Tracy's son, which makes Brook Lynn a Quartermaine by blood and a Cerullo through her mother, Lois. Her version has stayed consistent: she swerved, scraped a guardrail and kept driving, and says she only learned about the crash the next morning. The part that cost her the most trust wasn't the scrape. It was the months of silence while suspicion fell on Willow.
Are Chase and Brook Lynn divorced?
Yes, as of Monday, Oct. 26. The week before, Chase had hired a new lawyer, Monet, which we covered in our Monet explainer. Soaps.com's Oct. 22 recap headline called the divorce talks ugly. On Friday, Oct. 23, the two flew to the Dominican Republic for a quick divorce, a judge asked if they were sure, and neither picked up the pen. Our Oct. 23 recap has that hour.
Monday finished it. Both told the judge they didn't want this and couldn't stay married anyway. Brook Lynn signed first, Chase second, and they agreed to split custody of Phoebe 50/50. They married in May 2024, in a church ceremony that Gregory Chase officiated, with the reception at the Metro Court. So the marriage ran a little under two and a half years on screen.
Who is Phoebe?
Their daughter. Chase and Brook Lynn fostered her first, then adopted her. Soaps.com's Aug. 4 recap has Alexis bringing the papers to the Quartermaine house, both of them signing, and the child becoming Phoebe Jacklyn Chase. Alexis told them to file the paperwork at the courthouse.
That adoption is why the divorce needed a custody plan rather than a clean break. The 50/50 arrangement came out of the Oct. 26 signing.
Where does Brook Lynn stand right now?
Divorced, living at the family home, and sharing Phoebe with Chase. Tracy had pushed her toward full custody in mid-October, a fight Brook Lynn didn't seem to want, and the Monday signing settled it at an even split instead.
